Gryffindor is House of Sillage's contribution to their officially licensed Wizarding World collaboration, one of four scents built around the Hogwarts houses. It opens with black currant bud, black pepper, and tea leaves — a slightly sharp, tannic start — before moving into a burgundy dahlia and orris heart softened by ambrox. The base settles into Indonesian patchouli, Madagascar vanilla, and musk for a warm, cozy finish that reviewers have compared to a study session by a common-room fireplace. The bottle is the real draw here: a hand-polished ombré burgundy flacon topped with an enameled lion cap set with over 150 hand-placed Swarovski crystals, unmistakably House of Sillage in its level of detail.
