Hypnotic Poison opens with coconut, plum, and apricot before a heart of Brazilian rosewood, jasmine, tuberose, caraway, rose, and lily-of-the-valley. The base settles into vanilla, bitter almond, sandalwood, and musk. Composed by Annick Menardo and launched by Dior in 1998 as a flanker to the original 1985 Poison, it's a warm, edible oriental built around the intoxicating tension between bitter almond and creamy vanilla.
Cleo's Take: “This is the fragrance the beautiful, seductive Evil Queen would wear—spellbinding, icy, mysterious, and impossible to forget.”
