Rôses Berberanza is Julien Rasquinet's contribution to Maison Lancôme's Grand Cru approach — treating each fragrance like a wine blend, built from different extracts of the same core ingredient rather than a wide spread of notes. Here that means two damask rose extracts layered together: a rose absolute with herbaceous, green undertones softening a brighter rose essence. Saffron and mandarin lift the rose into something warmer and more luminous, while the base leans into spice, pistachio, bourbon vanilla, raspberry, and a smoky oud. It's a dense, opulent gourmand-floral rather than a delicate rose scent — built for cooler weather and a fragrance that wants to be noticed.
Condition: Original glass bottle, no box. Only sampled.
In Cleo's words: "This is the most boozy, beautiful rose fragrance — like roses drowning in some gorgeous, syrupy booze."
