Imperator | Royal Crown

Imperator draws its name and mood from Rome at its most powerful — a fragrance built to feel imperial rather than merely nice. It opens with nutmeg, cardamom, and olive leaf, a green-spicy combination that's more austere than sweet, before Tuscan iris, laurel, and rose take over the heart with a slightly powdery, almost furniture-polish woodiness. The base settles into cedar, olibanum, and myrrh, giving the whole thing a resinous, incense-adjacent warmth. It runs closer to intimate than loud — sillage stays fairly close to the skin — which suits a scent built around quiet authority rather than projection.
