Tzar is Royal Crown's imagined trip to Imperial St. Petersburg — grand halls, vodka-warmed evenings, and Russian leather. It opens with grapefruit, nutmeg, and pepper, sharp enough to cut through the richness that follows, before magnolia and lily of the valley soften things into a genuinely pretty floral heart. The base is where it turns nocturnal: cedar, vetiver, and Mysore sandalwood build a dense, dark woodiness that reviewers regularly compare to Xerjoff's Opera, though Tzar reads a touch more natural and less waxy. It's a fragrance built to darken as it wears, moving from bright citrus-spice to something closer to a secret garden after dusk.
